Owner
My name is Magda, and I am the passionate founder of Bodyzilian Wax. What started as a small waxing business in 2016 has blossomed into a thriving establishment, thanks to an amazing team and our dedication to providing exceptional waxing and facials services.
Born and raised in Brazil, I embarked on a journey of courage and determination when I immigrated to the United States in 2000, leaving behind my beloved and large family and a career in accounting. As a mother of two wonderful sons, they are my world, and their well-being always comes first, no matter their age. Together with my loving husband, we have dedicated our lives to faith, family, and work.
Arriving in the US, I was graciously taken in by a dear friend and found employment in the restaurant industry and house cleaning. These experiences instilled in me the values of hard work and dedication, teaching me to always strive to give my best in everything I do.
In 2007, a life-changing opportunity presented itself when I had the chance to learn the art of waxing from my own esthetician. It was love at first sight, and I decided to pursue this passion further by attending esthetician school and obtaining my license. I spent years honing my skills and working for other waxing companies, always striving to be the best waxer I could be.
In 2016, I took a bold leap of faith and opened Bodyzilian Wax. Though our beginnings were humble, through sheer hard work, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to customer service, we have grown to offer a wide range of services, including facials. I am incredibly proud to have pursued the American dream and to serve as living proof that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible.
Outside of work, I cherish quality time with my friends and family. I find joy in cooking, reading, gardening, and immersing myself in music. I have a deep fascination with traveling and exploring different cultures and customs, as they enrich my perspective on life.

I am Camila, originally from São Paulo, Brazil, but I made the decision to leave everything behind, including my beloved family, in order to be with my husband.
As a person, I strongly believe in the principles of justice and doing what is right for everyone.
I find happiness in traveling and immersing myself in different cultures, always eager to expand my knowledge. Serving those in need brings me great joy.
In 2020, I embarked on a new journey with Bodyzilian Wax, a company whose values align perfectly with my own. My newfound passion for beauty, combined with my extensive background in administration and finance, has not only made me a good esthetician but has also allowed me to hold other positions in the company as an administrator and in marketing. I feel a sense of belonging with the team and take immense pleasure in contributing to the growth of the company alongside my coworkers.
